Luminescence Theatre Company is a female and LGBT+ led organisation that celebrates diversity, inclusivity, and creativity in every aspect of what we do. We believe in creating spaces for individuals to thrive, and as such we are committed to showcasing the voices and contributions of everybody who works with us.
Our management team comprises our three co-founders and co-artistic directors, each bringing unique talents and specialisms that shape our creative voice.
Archie brings a wealth of experiences and a passion for pushing artistic boundaries to our small team. His journey into the realm of theatre began by accident in secondary school, where he found himself involved in a public performance of Suitcase 1938 with his drama class, and loved every minute.
At 19, he has already immersed himself in several disciplines such as improvisation, shadow theatre, clowning and puppetry. With the help of facilitators at the Marina Theatre, he honed his craft and laid the foundation for a career marked by innovation and bright ideas.
In his formal education, Archie has explored the methodologies of renowned practitioners such as The Paper Birds, Bertolt Brecht, Stanislavski and Antonin Artaud. These practitioners have deeply shaped his unique approach to storytelling.
Archie is not just an actor. As a director, he spearheaded a successful production of A Midsummer Night's Dream in 2022, prioritising diversity and authenticity in casting choices. His commitment to inclusivity ensures that all of our productions are a celebration of the richness of humanity.
Archie is a co-founder of Luminescence Theatre Company, and oversees our IT systems and marketing, as well as developing our shows. Outside of Luminescence, he volunteers in community work with local arts organisations and works freelance as a social media manager. He loves spending time with his friends and his niece, and has a small collection of rubber ducks!
Archie's work has not gone unrecognised. His commitment to using the arts as a catalyst for positive change was recognised by the Lowestoft community in his nomination as torch bearer for the town in the 2022 Festival of Suffolk, and we are proud that we can utilise his wide range of talents in our work.

Nathan is a creative genius with an affinity for adding a touch of magic to the performing arts. Nathan's journey is a vibrant one, woven with threads of creativity, originality, and a unique comedic flair that lights up the stage in true Luminescence nature.
In Archie's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Nathan starred as the one and only Puck, infusing the classic tale with his unique vision and comedic talents. His performance showcased not only his performance skills but also his ability to bring a fresh and entertaining perspective to the table.
An artist in the truest sense, Nathan is not only a performer but also an avid film enthusiast and graphic designer. He brings a diverse skillset to our team, and we use every inch of it. Nathan's open-minded approach to theatre allows him to experiment with new ideas, push the boundaries of traditional theatre and infuse a sense of spontaneity into every project.
Nathan's influences are as diverse as his skillset. Studying the works of The Paper Birds, Artaud and Stanislavski, he draws inspiration from the avant-garde and the traditional, creating a unique fusion that defines his artistic style.
He co-founded Luminescence alongside Archie and Anya, and is responsible for our stunning graphics, funding campaigns, and developing our shows. Outside of his work with us, Nathan works in a hotel resort, where he's found some really strange things in the rooms, and creates artwork inspired by his favourite movies and musical artists. He is spending a year studying graphic design at Level 3, but is absolutely not leaving an acting career behind.
In a world where creativity knows no bounds, Nathan is our guiding light, illuminating the path towards innovative and original theatrical experiences. Via laughter, imagination, and utter brilliance, Nathan creates unforgettable performances.

Anya is a multifaceted creative dynamo, adding her unique flair to every production. With an extensive background in theatre, Anya's talents as an actor, singer, dancer, and director have left an indelible mark on the stages of Great Yarmouth.
Anya is a theatre kid through and through, and this passion has created the talented person we see today. Having developed her performance skills at St George's Theatre, her directorial proewess was proudly showcased in her musical production of Encore: Reprise. This accomplishment was huge.
Rooted in the local arts scene, Anya boasts a rich network of connections across the region. Her deep understanding of the community she works in adds an extra layer of authenticity to her work, creating performances that resonate with our local audiences.
Her vast knowledge of the arts encompasses the teachings of theatre practitioners such as Bertolt Brecht, Max Stafford-Clark and Stanislavski. This diverse range of influences has shaped her unique creative voice, allowing her to craft performances that are both intellectually stimulating and emotionally resonant. Anya's methodology results in dynamic and immersive experiences for performers and audiences alike.
Anya is one of our co-founders, and works closely with third parties such as venues and community organisations we work with, and plays a major role in the development of our productions. Outside of our work, she volunteers at her local theatre and continues to study performing arts. She is a waitress, so she has perfected her balancing skills for tricky dance moves, and she loves a drink at her local Spoons.
Anya is more than an artist. She is a visionary with great ambitions, and a driving force in our landscape.
